Hey hey. I’m back for my weekly post. Although I’m just going to put this out there now; I am not going to be able to hold to my weekly post commitment until mid-May.
I say that because I am now in Bali, knees/mind/body deep in a 200 hour yoga teacher training (YTT) and it’s going to be a bit more intense than I had imagined.
I would like to be able to put a lot more effort into this blog, so I am going to be non-committal (my MO) and consider my original April Fool’s Day launch the ‘soft’ launch.

I intend to fully dive into this after I’m done with the YTT and silent meditation retreat, which I am doing after completing the YTT. Who knew this whole blog thing would take so much time?
Ironically, I did, which is one reason I held off for so long on launching it. Eventually the weight of not launching it overcame the desire to do nothing, so here we are. Stuck in a soft launch. But hey, at least it’s something!

This place is so damn relaxing and we are learning so much, and I want to focus on learning. Who knew yoga was so deep? Well, that’s what I came here to learn more about, and I have certainly received what I wished for.
I admit that it has been challenging to learn the Hindu-based meditation practices since I am trained in Buddhist-based insight meditation, but it’s not as though I actually have to teach. After all, I am just doing this for me. It’s all about the knowledge.
That said, I would like to leave you with a few casual photos of what I’ve seen so far during my time here in Bali.

Looks like it might rain.

As my father would say, “Catch ya on the flip slide!”
